LMD CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY
Please review the
following Terms & Conditions which govern use of the site and purchase
of products. Usage of our site means you agree to
follow and abide by these Terms & Conditions.
CANCELLATION
POLICY
Orders
may be cancelled within 24 hours after the order was completed. Due to our
commitment to process orders quickly, there is a limited period of time in
which your order can be cancelled. Once an order is placed with LMD, we
will submit an order directly to the manufacturer on your behalf. This
typically occurs within a 24-hour period after an order is placed by the
customer. Once this step has been completed, LMD, and thus the customer,
becomes financially obligated to purchase the ordered merchandise from the
manufacturer. For this reason, we don’t accept cancellations once the
24-hour window has passed. At the time an order is placed the customer
receives notification via e-mail describing all order details. It is the
customer’s responsibility to verify that the information in the e-mail
receipt is correct. If the customer does not notify us of any changes
within the 24-hour window LMD will proceed with ordering the merchandise
from the manufacturer. Any cancellation of the order after this point must
be submitted in writing through our contact form. The customer may be
responsible for any shipping and handling fees that may apply. Returned
items except those with damage or quality problems will be subject to
restocking fee of 15% - 20%. Once an order has been shipped, it is subject to our
return policy. A cancellation number will be issued upon cancellation of
all orders. Should any discrepancy with your cancellation occur please
provide this number to our representative.

Note:
- Your
cancellation request will be sent to the manufacturer directly to
confirm the order can be cancelled and that it has not been prepared
for shipping. A refusal of the item at delivery will be considered a
“Return” and credit will be issued in your original payment method
minus restocking fees and round-trip shipping charges.
- You
will receive an email from LMD confirming the approval or denial of
your cancellation request.
If we
are unable to cancel your order as requested, you will receive notification
in writing explaining that it was too late to cancel. If this should occur
and you do not wish to receive your product, you may return it under our Standard
Return Policy.
RETURN
POLICY
Shop worry free with
our 100% customer satisfaction guarantee! At LMD, we make every effort to
ensure our customers are completely thrilled with their purchases so we can
avoid returns altogether. We take pride in hand-selecting high quality
modern furniture and accessories from manufacturers from all over the
world. If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can
return or exchange it within 15 days of delivery. Returns require prior
authorization in the form of a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
number. Customers may request an RMA through our ‘Contact Us’ form or by
e-mailing rma@LuxeModernDesign.com.
A RMA will be provided by the manufacturer and a return address and full
instructions will be provided to you. This process usually takes
approximately 5 – 7 business days. Returned items without a RMA will
generally result in a refusal by the manufacturer and the credit will not
be processed.
All items must be
unused, disassembled and non-modified, in its original packaging. If the
items do not meet this criteria they are deemed non-returnable and will not be accepted. You should provide us with the return tracking number so we
are able to track your return and confirm its arrival back to the
manufacturer. It is important that you save the tracking number in case
there are any issues in transit. In addition, a restocking fee may be
applicable to returned item(s) which varies with individual manufacturers.
A refund will be credited to you once the manufacturer has received,
inspected and confirmed products are undamaged.
Returned items must be
received within 10 calendar days from the date the RMA was issued. All
returned items must be in new, original, unassembled condition and
packaging. A few of our vendors may be excluded from our return policy. Any
exceptions are noted on the individual product page of the item. To return
items for an exchange or refund please contact us via e-mail at rma@LuxeModernDesign.com or
toll-free at 1-888-756-LUXE (5893). All returns are subject to round trip
shipping charges. If your item was shipped “Free Shipping” we will deduct
our actual outbound shipping charges from the refund amount. Return
shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Non-returnable Items:
- Custom
modification or any special items (items or styles that are outside of
manufacturer’s stock colors and fabrics)
- Assembled
and / or modified items
- Items
without original packaging
